FEMA and State Emergency Response Team (SERT) officials encourage homeowners, renters and business owners who sustained damage and have not registered to do so by the Sept. 8, 2005, deadline.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- State and federal officials today announced new hours of operation for Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs). All DRCs will be closed on Saturday, Aug. 20, and all weekends thereafter. Beginning Monday, August 22, hours of operation for the six centers (see below) are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (local time).
