FRANKFORT, Ky. -- Todd and Trigg counties have been added to the area of Kentucky eligible for federal disaster assistance provided by the U. S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The total number of counties eligible for FEMA assistance now totals 30, federal disaster officials said.

FRANKFORT, Ky. -- Marshall County has been added to counties in Kentucky eligible for assistance provided to cities, counties and certain private non-profit agencies by the U. S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). That boosts the number to 28 Kentucky counties eligible for Public Assistance funds.

WASHINGTON, D.C. ? The head of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced today that President Bush has authorized the use of federal disaster funds for Kentucky to help local governments recover from the effects of the winter storm and record snowfall that hit the state late last year.
