INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- State and federal disaster recovery officials announced that 2 Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC) will open this week. A DRC in Kokomo will open on Monday, January 24 and one in Bedford will open on Tuesday, January 25 to serve victims of the severe winter storms and flooding beginning January 1 and continuing. The center locations will be: Howard County Howard County Emergency Management 120 E. Mulberry St. Room 6 Kokomo, Indiana 46901

» Federal Aid Programs For Indiana Disaster Recovery WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The head of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced today that President Bush has ordered the release of federal disaster funds for Indiana to help families and businesses recover from the effects of recent winter storms.
