HARRISBURG, Pa. -- Pennsylvania homeowners, renters and business owners in Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties who suffered damage or loss because of the summer storms between July 27 and Aug. 25 have one week left to apply for federal disaster assistance.
HARRISBURG, Pa. -- Pennsylvania residents who incurred damage from the storms and flooding that began on August 1, 2004, have until October 5 to register for assistance with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
ESSINGTON, Pa. -- Federal and state disaster officials remind Pennsylvanians that Sept. 9, 2004 is the deadline for filing Disaster Unemployment Assistance claims for Delaware, Montgomery or Philadelphia counties. Persons living or working in a disaster-designated county whose jobs have been affected by severe storms and flooding that began Aug. 1 may be eligible for disaster unemployment benefits. If benefits are awarded, it can mean up to 26 weeks of assistance.
