LINCOLN, NE -- The Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Nebraska Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) disaster recovery officials announced the mobile disaster recovery unit will be in Weeping Water in Cass County until Saturday, June 5 to assist residents who suffered losses from the severe storms, tornadoes and flooding which began on May 20, 2004.

LINCOLN, Neb -- Nebraska residents in presidentially declared counties, who suffered damaged from the severe storms, tornadoes and flooding that began on May 20, 2004 should apply for assistance immediately. There are many programs available that can provide help. Eligibility is determined on a case by case basis.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Nebraskans who have applied for disaster assistance can expect to have their homes inspected by a FEMA inspector. Applicants who do not have insurance can expect to have their homes inspected within five days after they have applied.
