» Federal Aid Programs For Delaware Disaster Recovery Washington, DC - The head of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced today that federal disaster funds have been made available for Delaware to help residents and communities in New Castle County recover from the effects of Tropical Storm Henri.

New Castle, DE -- Officials from the State of Delaware and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will open two Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) to assist individuals who suffered losses from recent storms. DRCs will open in New Castle and Sussex counties on Thursday, September 25 at 9:30 a.m. Hours of operation will be Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. until further notice and will be closed on Sundays.
