New Castle, DE -- Residents who sustained losses or damage as a result of Tropical Storm Henri and Hurricane Isabel have until October 31 to visit the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)/State Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) at St. Marks United Methodist Church, federal and state disaster recovery officials announced today. The church is located at 1700 Limestone Rd in Wilmington

New Castle, DE -- Residents and business owners in Delaware who sustained damage from Tropical Storm Henri and Hurricane Isabel have only one month to apply for disaster assistance. The registration period for disaster assistance ends on November 24. That is also the deadline for submitting loan applications to the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) for disaster-related losses to real and personal property.

New Castle, DE -- Effective immediately, the toll-free Registration and Helpline number for FEMA, 1-800-621-FEMA (3362), is changing hours. The new hours of operation will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 pm. Eastern time, until further notice. Telephone lines will be closed on weekends. The new hours also apply to the TTY number for hearing/speech impaired, 1-800-462-7585.

New Castle, DE -- It is not too late for individuals who are out of work as a direct result of the Tropical Storm Henri or Hurricane Isabel to apply for weekly benefit payments under the Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) program. DUA is funded by FEMA and administered by the Delaware Department of Labor through the U.S.
