Richmond, VA - The Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) at the Staunton National Guard Armory, Gypsy Hill Park, 500 Thornrose Ave., Staunton, will close permanently at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, state and federal officials have announced.

Richmond, VA - The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) registration hours will change beginning today. Virginians in the disaster-declared counties who need to register for disaster assistance may call the FEMA registration line at: 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week. Those who are speech or hearing impaired may call TTY 1-800-462-7585.
