Kokomo, IN -- More than $29.4 million in disaster assistance grants and low-interest loans have been approved for Indiana residents in response to the July storms and flooding, federal and state disaster officials said today. The last day to call and apply to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for individual disaster assistance if you suffered damage from tornadoes, severe storms and flooding that occurred July 4 through August 6 is Tuesday, September 9.
