AGENCY: Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: This notice amends the notice of a major disaster declaration for the State of North Carolina, (FEMA-1448-DR), dated December 12, 2002, and related determinations.
EFFECTIVE DATE: December 20, 2002.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The notice of a major disaster declaration for the State of North Carolina is hereby amended to include the following areas among those areas determined to have been adversely affected by the catastrophe declared a major disaster by the President in his declaration of December 12, 2002:

Caldwell, Davie, Edgecombe, Johnston, Northampton, Polk, Warren, Wayne and Wilson Counties for Public Assistance.

All counties in the State of North Carolina, including the Cherokee Indian Reservation, are eligible to apply for assistance under the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.
