New York, NY -- The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the state of New York are advising New Yorkers that there is still time to register for disaster assistance from the Individual and Family Grant (IFG) program. Recovery officials also announced special holiday hours during the month of November.

New York, NY -- The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the New York State Department of Labor announced today that the approval rate for those requesting financial aid through the state-administered Individual and Family Grant (IFG) program is just under 89 percent. Through October 24, the IFG program has received 95,147 applications for assistance as a result of the World Trade Center Disaster.
