Quincy, MA -- Residents and business owners in seven Eastern Massachusetts counties, who sustained damage from the March storms and flooding, have only one more week to apply for disaster assistance. June 9 is the last day applications will be accepted. That is also the deadline for submitting loan applications to the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) for disaster-related losses to real and personal property.

Quincy, MA -- Grants totaling more than $6.8 million have been issued throughout eastern Massachusetts for disaster housing assistance by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). "Checks have gone to eligible homeowners, and renters affected by the severe storms and flooding, March 5 through April 16 in Bristol, Essex, Middlesex, Norfolk, Plymouth, Suffolk, and Worcester counties," said Federal Coordinating Officer Louis H. Botta.
