San Francisco, CA -- Federal, state, local and voluntary agencies have been working in partnership to help Napa County residents following the recent earthquake of September 3. The following is a summary of ongoing response and recovery efforts as of the close of registration for disaster assistance, November 30:

San Francisco, CA -- Napa County residents and business owners who were affected by the earthquake of September 3 and who have not yet registered for federal and state disaster assistance have only three more days to call the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) teleregistration number. November 30, 2000 is the deadline to register for Individual Assistance disaster programs, according to federal and state disaster recovery officials.

San Francisco, CA -- The hours when Napa County earthquake victims can register for federal and state disaster assistance will change as of Friday October 20, according to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The Teleregistration and disaster information Helpline will be in operation seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST).

San Francisco, CA -- As of today 2,911 persons affected by the Sept. 3 earthquake in Napa County, California have registered for assistance through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) teleregistration system. The FEMA temporary housing program has approved 2,060 applications for $3,018,561. The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has approved 257 low-interest disaster loans totaling $5,373,600 and the California state Individual and Family Grant Program (IFG) has awarded 122 grants totaling $107,357.
