FEMA employee wins Information Systems Security Officer of the year award

The Chief Information Officer is pleased to announce the FY2012 FEMA ISSO-of-the-Year Hannah Bruce!

Bruce was recognized today at the Department of Homeland Security Information Systems Security Officer of the Year awards ceremony hosted by the United States Coast Guard.  She is skilled at recognizing defects in security artifacts and is known as the de facto reviewer of all security documents prior to submission. Since January 2012, Bruce has reviewed over 100 security authorization documents.

Bruce’s immeasurable talents, professional accomplishments, and her ability to simplify complex items have made her a valuable asset to FEMA. 

FEMA also selected two runner ups: Kelli Campbell and Eric Lee.
