Radiological Emergency Preparedness Program Logo

The Radiological Emergency Preparedness Program Logo was created in the early 1980's as part of one of the first programs created under the Federal Emergency Management Agency. The logo has served as an Identification for the program for nearly 30 years to more thena 65 Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) Sites and the surrounding Emergency Planning Zones (EPZ). EPZs extend out as far as 50 miles from Nuclear Power Plants, and includes nearly half the population of the United States of America.
