  • Hebbronville, Texas, August 26, 2010 --The Jim Hogg County FEMA/State Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) opens today and signs are in place to help those affected by June's Hurricane Alex and Tropical Depression #2. A FEMA Mobile DRC is providing telecommunication support.

  • In preparation for Hurricane Alex FEMA and other Federal Agencies set up a staging area in the Randolph Auxiliary Air Force Base in Seguin, TX.

In the event Hurricane Alex touched land in southeast Texas, 103 trucks with commodities were ready to mobilize to the impacted area.
