Perth Amboy, N.J., March 27, 2013 -- Many boats were damaged by Hurricane Sandy last October and left abandoned along the waterways or on the beaches of the New Jersey Shore. At the base of 2nd Street in Perth Amboy, a crew came to remove a boat that had been identified as abandoned. FEMA is working with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and other partners to facilitate the removal of these types of hazards.
