Pandemic Influenza
In response to the growing H1N1 Pandemic Influenza outbreak, planning and information sharing efforts have begun with Federal departments and agencies. In addition to our Federal pandemic influenza continuity of operations planning efforts, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has provided outreach to State, territorial, tribal, and local government jurisdictions. FEMA has developed and disseminated continuity guidance focused specifically on the threat, to include a pandemic continuity planning template, brochure, and a tabletop exercise to ensure that essential functions remain operational during a pandemic outbreak.
